Nakon 8 sezona i jednog tv-filma, potvrđen je i "pravi" film. Snimanje počinje u travnju sljedeće godine. Scenarist će biti Mark Bomback ("Umri muški 4"), a producent Brian Grazer. Redatelj je za sada nepoznat. |

Iako se o filmu u zadnje vrijeme ne govori, Kiefer Sutherland na svom Twitter profilu (@RealKiefer) napisao je kako još ništa nije sigurno, ali se nada da će početni snimati u siječnju. Za Jacka Bauera nova 2011. nije počela dobro. 20th Century Fox odbacio je scenarij kojeg je napisao Billy Ray ("U vrtlogu igre"). No, ipak postoji mali tračak nade. Howard Gordon, glavni producent serije, izjavio je ipak postoji mogućnost da se snimi film. -Mislim da je moguće projektu pristupiti na drugačiji način, odnosno scenarist Ray mora biti spreman na velike izmjene. Koliko sam shvatio, odlučio je sastati se s glavnim glumcem Kieferom Sutherlandom kako bi mu pomogao na novim idejama, tako da nije sve izgubljeno - veli Gordon. Nadamo se da će usavršit scenariji i snimit film, a u međuvremenu uživajmo u Šeherezadi. ... NOOOT! UPDATE: U zadnjem intervjuu Howard Gordon izjavio je kako misli napisati knjigu ako ne snime film. |

 Nakon serije, tv-filma i filma (koji se trenutno snima) imamo još razloga za veselje. A razlog tome je dokumentarac o "24" kojeg snima glavna zvijezda serije Kiefer Sutherland.
Kiefer i Rodney Charters pregledavali su stare behind-the-scenes videe te je Kiefer rekao da se osjeća vrlo nostalgično i da je šokiran koliko se zapravo promijenio. Uz film jedva čekamo i ovaj dokumentarac. |

digitalspy.co.uk donosi intervju s izvršnim producentom Howardom Gordonom koji je rekao da će se "24" snimati i u Srbiji. Cijeli intervju je na engleskom jeziku (OPERZ SPOILERI!): How long did it take you to write the show's final scene?
"Probably an hour. It was one of those things where if you look too hard for something you'll never find it. I was very, very aware that the last few moments, particularly on a real time show, needed to mean something. I was so inspired by The Sopranos, which I felt commented on the medium. Someone once described it as David Chase as a rockstar who took the guitar and just smashed it on stage. And in this case, Jack has this relationship with screens and with us and the idea of us being in Chloe's point of view. In many ways, Chloe has kind of been our proxy for Jack, and the idea of the words that Chloe says - 'Shut it down' - was to me that punctuation mark. Once I had that image in mind that we were going to use this drone... It was like we had no idea that that was going to be the last governing image of the series, but seeing it blink out to static and then to silence and the clock really felt right, and I knew in that moment it was the right thing to do - Jack looking up at us vulnerable, but still living to fight another day."
